Both tweeters have been tested and they function perfectly throughout the volume range with no distortion. The tweeter inside has it's own metal housing. If the audio in your Grand Cherokee lacks detail and sounds muffled, then your tweeters are probably burned out. Failing tweeters will also produce static and crackle.
