Large German sedans make great platforms for armoring, and are one of the most popular choices in countries where there is a need for that sort of thing, but they're far from being the only sedans that can offer security-minded customers the relative peace of mind that comes with ownership of such a car. Besides, if you need to travel discreetly, a Mercedes-Benz S-class isn't always the best option -- which is why armoring companies will gladly modify less-obvious cars like the new Škoda Superb.

Built on VW's new MQB modular architecture, the CrossBlue was designed to both showcase the versatility of MQB (it also underpins the upcoming Golf, the new Audi A3, as well as SEAT and Skoda models) and illustrate that VW was serious about the seven-passenger market in the United States. Fri, 02 Nov 2012Staying on top of recalls is key to maintaining the safety and overall well-being of your vehicle.To make things easy, we've completed the following list of the most recent recalls involving Honda and Acura cars, crossovers and SUVs. 2012 Honda recalls: --December 12, 2012 — Honda is recalling 318,000 Honda Odyssey minivans, 259,000 Honda Pilot SUVs from the 2003 and 2004 model years, and 230,000 Acura MDX luxury SUVs from the 2003 through 2006 model years. Honda said a malfunction in the ignition-interlock feature of these vehicles could allow the key to be removed from the ignition before the car in has been placed in “park.” All but 64,000 of affected vehicles were sold in the United States.
