    ASA Electronics said it has introduced the first true plug-and-play Harley-Davidson replacement radio made to fit into the factory opening without requiring any special mounting kit or brackets.

    The factory harness plugs directly into the back of the Jensen HD1BT radio. The radio then works with the factory handlebar controls.

    Reportedly designed from the ground up for this particular application, the HD1BT is built to handle the tough environment that motorcycles endure. The face of the unit is waterproof rated to IPX6 (aka powerful jetting water) for safe hosing down during cleaning, with the rear chassis rated at IPX5 (aka jetting water). According to ASA, this unit has been tested against extreme temperatures and vibration and come out swinging.

    The HD1BT stereo has Bluetooth Streaming Audio (A2DP) and Source Control (AVRCP), plus iPhone and iPod compatibility with control and charging from the USB. AUX-in, AM/FM and Weather Band keep riders informed of any incoming weather as well as any non-weather related emergencies such as Amber Alerts.

    It's also Sirius/XM ready, so you can add a SiriusXM tuner and antenna and control stations from the clear red and black face of the unit. And if the 50 watts x 4 channel isn't enough, front and rear line-outs are included for adding additional amplifiers.

    Honda Small Sports EV Concept

    Honda has released these renders of the Small Sports EV Concept it hopes will be the star of the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show. Very few details of the compact sports car have been revealed, but it looks to be similar in size to the Mazda MX-5, but with an almost monovolume silhouette, with virtually no transition from hood to windscreen at the front and a pair of buttresses that extend from the top of the seats to the trailing edge of the rear deck. The front mask features full-width blue lighting and a glazed 'grille', which appear to becoming visual identifiers for EVs.
