The bands worm drive is raised to give a smooth surface preventing hose damage. Rolled edges eliminate hose damage found with normal clamps.     This year’s special Christmas car from Neiman Marcus is a special edition of the McLaren 12C Spider with lunch with Ron Dennis thrown in. Last year Neiman Marcus offered the Ferrari FF but this year it’s the turn of the Brits again (the Neiman Marcus Christmas car was the Jaguar XJ in 2009) with the new McLaren 12C Spider, the convertible version of the MP4-12C (which, it appears, McLaren now want us to call just the 12C). The Neiman Marcus 12C Spider is a bog standard car (not that there’s much ‘bog standard’ about 616bhp and a 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds) in Volcano Red, but it does come with the prerequisite of a Neiman Marcus car by offering something money can’t easily buy (although it self evidently can) – dinner with Ron.

    Ford Focus RS 2009 prices announced When the Ford Focus RS hits UK car showrooms in March, it will cost £24,995, with a 0-60 of under 6 seconds and over 300bhp. The base price include goodies such as 19″ forged alloys, xenon headlights, aircon and a Thatcham cat 1 alarm. For an extra £750 you can have a climate pack which includes auto lights and wipers, and for £1500 you get a clever touch-screen satnav.

    Hyundai use hypnosis to sell the new i30 Hyundai in the Netherlands are using hypnotist Peter Powers to experiment with hypnosis to raise awareness for the new Hyundai i30. We’ve been big fans of the way Hyundai has marketed their products in the last few years, managing to change perceptions of the brand in a fraction of the time mighty VW took with Skoda. What we’re not too sure of is the latest marketing tactic being tried out by Hyundai in the Netherlands, who have enlisted the skills of hypnotist Peter Powers to create a 15 minute immersive video designed to be watched full screen on your computer – with headphones on – as Powers lets you experience the new Hyundai i30 in a whole new way.
