Wraps Come Off Seat’s New Lifestyle Wagon
Tue, 26 Aug 2014SPANISH car maker Seat has confirmed pricing and specification the latest edition to its popular Leon line-up. Called X-Perience, the new lifestyle estate with permanent four-wheel-drive and chunky off-roader looks will start from £24,385 when it hits the showroom this December. With four-wheel-drive and extra ground clearance, Leon X-Perience is said to be capable in all road situations and poor weather conditions.
First look: 2014 BMW M3 and M4
Wed, 11 Dec 2013The BMW M3 is back, faster and more powerful than ever before -- but only as a four-door sedan. For its iconic 3-series-based performance model, BMW will dispense with a 26-year tradition of high-revving naturally aspirated engines in lieu of turbocharged six-cylinder power. Revealed here in production-car guise for the first time, the new 425-hp M3 sedan will be joined at the outset by its sister model, the M4 -- a mechanically identical but stylistically sleeker two-door coupe previewed in lightly veiled concept-car form at the Pebble Beach concours in California last August.
New SEAT Leon SC: Price from £15,370
Tue, 02 Apr 2013The new SEAT Leon SC (3-door), which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last month, will cost from £15,370 for the S 1.2TSI. Not only is the Leon SC cheaper than the Hatch, SEAT has gone to some trouble to differentiate the two with the SC getting a lower roofline, more steeply raked windscreen and new tailgate, as well as being 35mm shorter. Despite which the Leon SC still has decent leg and head room in the back and a boot that’s as big as the Leon hatch.
