2014 Toyota Corolla loses Furia's flair, but theme remains
Thu, 13 Jun 2013The all-new 2014 Toyota Corolla debuted last week with a fresh look, confirming that the Furia concept Toyota brought to the Detroit auto show was more than just an exercise in styling. The Furia concept's sporty and flashy design intrigued us, and while the 2014 Corolla is an upgrade from the bland Corollas of the past, it also glosses over most of the flair of the Furia. Infiniti JX Tease – this time it’s the whole back end. Wow.
Thu, 04 Aug 2011Infiniti JX Concept Tease 5 I know you’re finding it hard to contain your excitement as we reveal veil number five in the Dance of the Seven JX images drops away to display the arse of the Infiniti JX Concept in all its glory. And actually, the arse is better than we could reasonably have expected. As we said when we ran the last tease of the JX , we’d half expected the JX to be the even uglier sibling to the horrible QX (which is an uglified and titivated Nissan Patrol).
Olympic cyclist races against Skoda Octavia vRS
Thu, 19 Sep 2013OLYMPIC GOLD medallist Ed Clancy took on a challenge of two wheels versus four testing his downhill racing skills against the Skoda Octavia vRS in a race against the clock. Covering a section of the famed Southern Borders Loop, part of the Tour of Britain stage one route, the race centred on a short, but brutally steep, hill climb with five major corners. To even the odds, Ed Clancy raced downhill from a rolling start whilst the new ŠKODA Octavia vRS raced uphill from a standing start.
