Land Rover reveals Range Rover Hybrid at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Land Rover has launched the world's first posh diesel hybrid at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Range Rover Hybrid promises V8 diesel performance but with 25% lower CO2 emissions and economy of more than 44mpg. The new Range Rover Hybrid range actually goes on sale today, during the first press day of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, with Land Rover delivering the first models in early 2014.

Festooned with cues from the original 1998 TT – something of a modern classic – the new car marries typical Audi cues with sharper, more aggressive details. It looks awfully close to CAR’s artist’s impression of the new TT in our gallery (see right).
BMW resurrects the C1

It is part of a broad-based safety project conducted in cooperation with the European Union under the working title eSUM (European Safer Urban Motoring). The roofed scooter, which originally went on sale across Europe with a gasoline engine in 2000, was once touted by BMW as the future of urban mobility.
