New Jaguar XE teased
Sat, 17 May 2014Jaguar reveal a teaser image of the new XE Jaguar’s new smaller car – effectively a replacement for the Mondeo-based X-Type – has been coming for what seems a very long time, but it was finally officially announced at the Geneva Motor Show in March. At the time, all we got was a front-end view of the new XE as Jaguar attempted to whet appetites, but now we get the first official teaser from Jaguar of their new baby saloon. Covered in a bizarre camouflage of add-on panels and white paint, the XE looks to haveĀ the proportions of the XF, just on a smaller scale.
Show Review: Art Center Car Classic 2007
Fri, 10 Aug 2007For those of you who haven't yet attended, Art Center's Car Classic is rapidly becoming the talk of the concours circuit. Held during the middle of the summer trimester at the main Hillside campus in Pasadena, it was started just three years ago and is gaining quite a following not only because of its intimate setting in which to admire the cars but also because attendees rub shoulder-to-shoulder with a variety of current and past industry designers and celebrities. To this fellow automotive enthusiast and Art Center alumnus at least, the Car Classic likens itself most to Lord March's Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival in the UK.
Bentley W12 (and Audi and VW) engine production centres on Crewe

But you’d be wrong. In fact, the W12 for Bentleys are made in Crewe but those used in the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton are actually built by VW at their engine plant inĀ Salzgitter.
