Studebaker trees: Dead company, living advertisement
Thu, 28 Apr 2011Some of you may have seen this already; it’s been popular on the map sites for a while. But those who don’t know about Bendix Woods County Park west of South Bend, Ind., feast your eyes on 5,000 pine trees, planted in 1937, spelling Studebaker when viewed from high enough. New 2015 Nissan Murano SUV teased ahead of New York reveal (video)
Tue, 25 Mar 2014New Nissan Murano teased ahead of New York debut The Nissan Murano may no longer be sold in the UK, but that is likely to change with the arrival of a new Murano, teased ahead of its debut at the New York Motor Show next month. The new Murano will be Nissan’s halo SUV, and its design is based on the Nissan Resonance Concept we saw at Detroit last year featuring something Nissan called ‘V-Motion’ design. That means design that flows from a statement grill and boomerang-like headlights along strong crease lines on the flanks to a kick-up shape at the rear.
Mazda RX-8 facelift (2008): first official pictures
Sun, 13 Jan 2008By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 13 January 2008 10:47 Mazda’s facelifted RX-8 arrived at the Detroit Motor Show, and it’s more of a mild nip and tuck than a drastic overhaul. Mazda hasn’t suddenly dropped in a V6 or anything like that – so far over 165,000 rotary-engined RX-8s have been sold and Mazda doesn’t want to mess with a recipe that works. That means it’s still a four-door, four seater with 'Freestyle' (suicide to you and me) doors, and a unchanged 1.3-litre turbine engine available in 189bhp and 228bhp states of tune.
