International Buyers – Please Note:  Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. * Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ - US and International government regulations prohibit this.

Note for International buyers:

There are two shipping options. one with tracking (and insurable), one without. USPS First Class International has no tracking and is not insurable. USPS Priority Mail is. If you choose the less expensive First Class option, I cannot assume the  risk if the item arrives damaged or is lost, since I am unable to insure it, and there is no Ebay seller protection .The cost of First Calss is about half that of Priority , however , and is a economical choice if you don't mind the risk, however low it may be.Items of high value will always be mailed Priority Mail and insured. There will not be a First Class International option on high-value items.

It will let a Corvette buyer build his own engine, with help from a GM technician, and then see it installed in his car as it goes down the Bowling Green assembly line.

Watch Tesla Model S testing new titanium armor

Wed, 23 Apr 2014

In a missive signed by Elon Musk himself, Tesla announced it would be adding titanium plates and aluminum deflectors to all new Model S sedans and offering free retrofits for the 20,000 or so existing EVs. The company earlier offered an over-the-air software update to raise the ground clearance of the Model S so the car would be more likely to clear dangerous road debris. The actions were in response to well-publicized fires in the electric luxury sedans.
