Jaguar XFR (2009) tops 225mph at Bonneville

Running at a secret test at the Bonneville Salt Flats, the one-off prototype, using a tweaked version of Jaguar's new supercharged 5.0-litre V8, topped even the legendary XJ220's 217mph top speed. Final Corvette freed from museum sinkhole, and it ain't pretty

At last, our long national nightmare is over: All eight Corvettes sucked into the Bowling Green, Ky., National Corvette Museum sinkhole back in February are back at ground level. And there's a lot to be happy about. First and foremost, we're thankful no one was hurt in the incident, which happened in the early morning hours of Feb.

The all electric Hyundai i10 will show at Frankfurt (click for bigger image) This is a bit of a surprise from Hyundai, as they’d always said they would concentrate on hybrids until hydrogen fuel cell technology was advanced enough to make it viable in a budget car. But Hyundai are being pragmatic. There is a desire from the public for all electric cars – however misplaced that may be – and Hyundai aren’t going to be left out.
