Citroen DS Inside: full photos, analysis of new DS3

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 29 May 2009 11:00 Citroen has shown off its new DS Inside concept in more detail – providing a glimpse at the company’s plans for its ‘near premium’ models. It’s our first view inside the DS’s cabin and more details are emerging of Citroen’s strategic move upmarket in 2010. Although still officially a concept car, the DS Inside is virtually a carbon copy of the production DS3, the first of the new models named after the legendary 1950s déesse.

The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will launch at the Detroit Motor Show 2010 There’s been a fair bit of news on Cadillac’s performance halo car the CTS-V of late. We had Bob Lutz taking on all comers at the Monticello Race Track in New York for the CTS-V Challenge (which turned in to a one-make competition) and the ubiquitous Mt Lutz confirming that Cadillac will be making a CTS-V Wagon (Estate, to us). And now comes confirmation of the CTS-V Coupe.

Parents 'risking kids' lives' on defective tyres

MORE THAN 30% of parents are ferrying their most precious cargo around on illegal tyres, a new study has found. Road safety charity TyreSafe has reported that one of its members carried out a study at a Shropshire primary school, where almost a third of the cars dropping children off at school were wearing tyres that were either past their wear markers, were incorrectly inflated, had bulges or cuts, or had foreign objects sticking out of them. “The start of the new academic year means that we will be experiencing many more cars on the roads, particularly at peak times of the day,” comments Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe.
