Toyota Aygo Crazy set for Goodwood debut

It's a one-off, attention-grabbing supermini with a mid-engined layout like the Renault Clio V6.  The racing Aygo uses a 200bhp turbocharged version of Toyota's 1.8 VVT-i engine from the Celica and MR2 – making it somewhat more powerful than the regular Aygo's 68bhp. Report: Ram plans light-duty pickup

Chrysler's Ram brand plans to offer a light-duty front-drive pickup on a redesigned minivan platform beginning in 2013, according to a published report. The truck is expected to be aimed at pickup buyers who want better fuel economy than a full-sized pickup can provide, and who don't need a pickup's toughness and hauling capability. The vehicle will be targeted at the Honda Ridgeline pickup.

1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra sells for $7.25 million at Monterey auction

The championship-winning 1965 Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe CSX2601 sold for a record $7.25 million on Saturday at an auction in Monterey. The sale is believed to be a record for an American car at auction. Bob Bondurant drove it to victory in the 12 Heures du Reims--fittingly on the Fourth of July in 1965 to secure the FIA title.
