Quilted from the outside with a soft collar, wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, belt and epaulette, and featuring a custom ribbed back-stretched panel for added comfort and ribbed elastic under the arms to facilitate 360 degree movement, the K1 light weight auto racing suit is a comfortable, useable fire suit that is specially designed for auto racing applications. A 1988 Lamborghini Countach, actually made by Lamborghini of Italy in 1988 (at the Lamborghini factory) has been neglected like the Trans Am that's been sitting in your uncle's shed since the Carter administration. We're pretty sure there's a scary story about how this Countach ended up this way, but we're not sure we want to hear it -- it'll be too depressing.
Meet the Porsche Macan small SUV
Thu, 16 Feb 2012The small Porsche SUV that goes on sale about 18 months will wear the Macan nameplate, the German automaker said on Thursday. Until now, the SUV project had been known by the code name Cajun, created from the concept of “Cayenne Junior.” Porsche says Macan is “derived from the Indonesian word for tiger and combines suppleness, power, fascination and dynamics.” The Porsche Macan will share a platform with the Audi Q5 and will be built at the Porsche plant in Leipzig, Germany, that now builds the Cayenne. Porsche is spending $650 million to expand the Leipzig plant, adding a body shop and a paint shop.

Beautiful, Innovative and Radiant'. While it may sound like a slogan for a new line of women's cosmetics, this theme does in fact center on the increasingly relevant field of electric vehicle (EV) design; or more specifically the need to combine sustainable powertrains with attractive, well executed design.
