This is a BMW rider's seat for a k1200lt.  This is a lowered version for those less that 6'00 tall who need a lower seat to be comfortable.  No rips or tears in the seat.  This is a heated seat, has factory rocker switch and wiring.  Depending on which model K1200LT you have, you may need a wiring connector.  Mine was connected to a 1999 LT that did not come with factory heat, so I had to connect mine direct.  If yours did come with factory heat, you can either connect yours direct or obtain a wiring connector to plug to the bike.

The return of the Real MINI

Tue, 17 Mar 2009

The MINI Concept - heralding the revival of the Isetta and Topolino marques [ad#ad-1] Back in January, we speculated on the return of the Topolino and Isetta marques in a joint venture by BMW and Fiat to launch a range of super-eco city cars to rival those that manufacturers like VW and Mercedes are developing. And according to Auto Express those plans are getting close to being realised. This is a bold move by BMW and Fiat to gain ground over their rivals with models that offer extreme economy, but sport a legendary moniker to give the models added kudos.

What we didn’t know was that it would turn up in a fetching shade of Kermit green, complete with enormous wing and rear diffuser.

Hyundai ix20 (2010) first official teaser sketch

Thu, 02 Sep 2010

Hyundai is the latest car manufacturer to join the mini-MPV party, with the upcoming ix20, and ahead of its preview at the Paris motor show at the end of this month, the Korean company has released this teaser sketch. Designed and developed at Hyundai’s European research and development centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the ix20 is essentially Hyundai’s version of sister firm Kia’s Venga.  Hyundai would have you believe it’s a little bit of both – the ‘ix’ moniker has been chosen to suggest its cross-over like capability. The Korean manufacturer says the ix20 is ‘a vehicle with the ability to simultaneously serve as a functional people-carrier while providing a dynamic, fun-to-drive experience’; the Venga has shown that it’s a capable and competent, if unexciting, small MPV.
