2014 Lexus CT 200h Facelift to debut at Guangzhou Motor Show
Remarkably, the Lexus CT 200h arrived as a ‘baby’ Lexus more than three years ago at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, so it’s time for a bit of a facelift. That facelift for the 2014 model year will debut next week, not at the big shows in Tokyo or Los Angeles but at China’s Guangzhou Motor Show before going on sale as the 2014 Lexus CT 200h. Lexus aren’t telling us what they’ve done under the skin of the CT 200h – if anything – but the new CT 200h does finally get the new Lexus spindle grill to make it a full-fledged member of Lexus’s modern family.

BMW i3 to get motorcycle range-extender engine? The only real way to make an electric car – any electric car – come close to being a viable replacement for an ICE car is to fit it with a small engine to extend its range and charge its batteries when reserves get low. The range extender is the technology the Chevy Volt and Opel Ampera use to make their cars suitable for more than just short urban commuting, and it’s something BMW are planning as an option for the i3.

A few weeks ago, we showed you photos of a camouflaged Jaguar F-Type testing in Colorado. Now, Autoweek reader Kyle Lathrop has captured another F-Type in action on Route 66 in Arizona. The large “F-Type.com” sticker on the passenger side of the roadster isn't the only clue that this isn't the same car caught in Colorado.
