The last Volvo XC90 rolls off the production line to make way for the all new 2015 XC90
Fri, 11 Jul 2014The last Volvo XC90 rolls off the production line in Sweden. When the current Volvo XC90 arrived in 2002 it staked a claim as the perfect family SUV, a role it’s managed to hang on to – more or less – even though the XC90 is now long past its sell-by date. That’s because the 2002 XC90 was so cleverly conceived in the first place, with family-friendly ease of access to the back row of seats, inflatable side curtains for all three rows of seats, an integrated adjustable booster cushion for children, safety belt tensioners for all seats, easy to drive, decent looking and almost classless.
Lexus CT 200h Advance tops CT 200h range
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Lexus has revealed a new range-topper for its smallest car – the Lexus CT 200h Advance – with extra equipment and small price premium. But it seems Lexus are at least heading in the direction they should with the CT 200h by launching a new range-topping model - the Lexus CT 200h Advance – with more toys as standard to appeal to the downsizer who wants their luxury setup ready-made.

The overall interior architecture is a clear evolution of the current car's, with a wave-form IP and a separate binnacle but, as you would expect from the latest generation of a car famous for its pioneering tech, it hosts a vast array of electronic innovations. The all-digital gauge pack and 12.3-inch high-resolution center display features Splitview dual-display technology and the fifth-generation Comand system powered by an Intel Atom processor, controlled by a rotary dial.
