Attention all tranny techs... up for bid or purchase is a highly sought after tool from Kent Moore used to quickly and properly remove the output shaft sleeve on numerous transmissions including the 4T40E/4T45E, 4T65E, and 4L60E. #J-41227 has (2) adjustable legs that measure 1-1/2" in length, and have a curved lip to set behind and grasp the sleeve/seal, has a 2-1/2" long tapered screw that can be turned with any standard 9/16" wrench, and has a rubberized handle for ease of use. The result was the P538, his most sophisticated car to date. The first two examples built were fitted with Lamborghini V12 engines and sold to American buyers to compete in SCCA races, while the third used a highly modified 5.4-liter V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette.
