BMW ConnectedDrive concept
Wed, 02 Feb 2011BMW will show the all-new ConnectedDrive concept at the forthcoming Geneva motor show. A pure design study, the concept is said to explore the possibilities of interconnectivity and 'revolutionize driving in terms of comfort, infotainment and safety'. Though the teaser video to the left leaves many questions unanswered, the company is claiming it is 'setting the course for the future'.
Kia four-door sports sedan concept
Fri, 19 Aug 2011Kia isn't giving much away about its Frankfurt-bound concept car, indeed it hasn't even released its name yet, referring to it as the 'four-door sports sedan concept.' The press release talks of it as 'signalling a distinctive new design direction' for the Korean brand, yet the now-familiar 'tiger-nose' grille and Optima-esque A-pillar/cant rail/C-pillar highlight are very much in evidence. "No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off," says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer."I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter." Mercedes CLA (2013) first official pictures
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Mercedes-Benz has revealed its new CLA, a four-door coupe based on the A-class, at an event held in Detroit on the night before this year's motor show opens. But to keep your attention on the big-selling E-class which also makes its debut here, the CLA won't be on Mercedes' show stand, and will make its official public debut at Berlin Fashion Week later this month.
