THE ALUMINUM PORTION HAS A BUILT IN UPPER PINTLE AND LOWER SOCKET/GUDGEON

THE TILLER IS HELD ON WITH STAINLESS STEEL BRACKETS & MACHINE SCREWS

THERE ARE A COUPLE OF CRACKS APPEARING ON THE MAHOGANY BUT THEY IT APPEARS TO BE SOLID YET

THIS WAS ORIGINALLY ON A GLASTRON DINGHY & COULD USE NEW VARNISH

    Map-reading driver gets ban and hefty fine

    AN ELDERLY driver has been fined more than £1,000 and banned for a year after he was caught reading a map at the wheel. Peter John Rigby, 73, of Beamsley in Skipton, North Yorkshire, was captured by police cameras flicking through an atlas for at least 10 seconds while driving his Honda Jazz on March 4. The car caught the attention of a camera operator when it began to wander across the white line of the overtaking lane.

    Toyota recalls Lexus cars for fuel-system fixes

    Toyota Motor Corp., struggling to restore its reputation for top quality, on Wednesday recalled nearly 1.7 million vehicles globally for a variety of fuel system related problems, including 245,000 Lexus IS and Lexus GS sedans in the United States. The North American vehicles are being called back to inspect for possibly faulty installation of fuel pressure sensors. In cases where the sensor is not fastened tightly enough, fuel can leak between the gasket that connects the sensor to the fuel delivery pipes, Toyota said.
