Bring a Trailer: 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. Volkswagen's New Compact Coupe (NCC) concept previews the next Jetta, but with two-doors rather than four. The car's front - minus the hybrid-style closed grille - pretty much represents the new face of the sixth-generation production Jetta due on sale this November, and its syling is informed by the latest Polo as well as some recent concepts from the German brand. Volkswagen Golf GTE plug-in hybrid heads to Geneva motor show

The range-defying Volkswagen Golf GTE will make its debut at the Geneva motor show next month. The magic is in the numbers. It comes with a four-pot, 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that can crank out 148-bhp, mated to a 101-bhp electric motor.
