This aftermarket exhaust is for 996 twin turbo and GT2. There where many prototypes and this was the first production version of the muffler. The shop I was at at the time tested many different exhausts and used many of there design features to make this however at the time it was decided it was to costly to produce this system with the retail price of 996tt exhausts dropping so low.  It has 200 cell catalysts, beautiful welds and bends. It is one of the finest looking 996 tt exhausts I have ever seen. The investors loss is your gain. Originally this was going to sell for $5,500 but has sat in a where house until now.

New Mercedes-Benz S-class spotted in SoCal

(where it must be gauging the interest of Benz-crazy vox populi). Because as devoid as it is of bodywork-breaking pillboxes, camera-obfuscating swirl paint, and surly engineers, the fact that it's seen here in little more than some sticky paper and a pair of cheap sunglasses on the driver means that the elder statesman of the automotive world is readying its next debut.
