Thanks for looking at my KX-175B.  This was in a C150D I am restoring.  It worked fine on the ferry flight home even with a failing battery and generator out.

This unit is in pretty good shape for a KX175B.  See pictures.  It is mod 9, if that means anything.  Controls are tight and feel as if they have had very little use.

With this unit is a tray and wiring back.  This radio was part of a dual KX175b setup.  The other 175 was gone and I do not know the history.  There is a KI208 indicator also on Ebay from this install.

Any questions, please ask.  It is about as good looking of a 175b that I have seen.

Thanks..

What’s a Range Rover ‘Vouge’?

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Now the 2013 Range Rover is out in the wild, they’re becoming a common site on our roads and in car parks. So when one of the Cars UK team was sat waiting patiently in the Waitrose car park for his beloved to finish replenishing stocks, he wasn’t particularly surprised to find a nice new Range Rover Vogue slowly pass-by looking for a parking space. It looked a completely standard Vogue – the entry-level Range Rover – with no personalisation of any sort.

Bentley Continental Supersports – Driven at Goodwood

Wed, 15 Jul 2009

Derek Bell took the Bentley Continental Supersports up the Goodwood Hillclimb So this bit of news – and video – is slightly out of sync, but as it features Bentley’s fastest car ever – and Derek Bell driving – so it was hard not to give you the chance to have a look. The Bentley Supersports is what all ‘Eco’ cars should be – madly powerful but with a green badge and it can run on E85 Bio Fuel! The Bentley Supersports manages to churn out 612bhp from its 6.0 litre, twin-turbo W12 engine, delivering the 0-60mph sprint in 3.7 seconds and on to over 200mph.

Korean Grand Prix (2011) RESULT

Sun, 16 Oct 2011

Korean Grand Prix 2011 Last year’s Korean Grand Prix was more like a jaunt on the Solent than an F1 race, but the weather was a little more forgiving for the 2011 F1 Grand Prix, in the middle of nowhere in southern South Korea. Lewis Hamilton had obviously given himself a good talking to – or someone else had – as he displayed controlled aggression, and consummate skill, to take pole in Korea after his dismal series of performances of late. But all that effort was for nought as new world champion Vettel put him firmly in his place on the very first lap, never to look back.
