The Klein 32558 Heavy Duty Ratcheting Screwdriver/Nut Driver with Cushion Grip includes an interchangeable shaft that holds six (6) universal tips. Converts to three (3) nut driver sizes and one (1) hex driver. The Ratcheting Screwdriver/Nut Driver has a shank length of 2.95-Inches and an overall length of 8-Inches. The 32558 has a 3-way ratcheting mechanism for forward, reverse and locked positions. Nut drivers are heat-treated for added strength and improved torque. Cushion-Grip handles provide superior torque and comfort. The Ratcheting Screwdriver/Nut Driver contains a 3/16-Inch and 1/4-Inch slotted heads, 1 and 2 Phillips head, 1/4-Inch, 5/16-Inch and 3/8-Inch nut drivers, 1 and 2 square-recess, and 3/8-Inch hex driver. In what's regarded as a major boost for Korean car maker Kia, it has been confirmed that Peter Schreyer will be moving from Volkswagen AG to lead Kia's global design operation. Schreyer will oversee the design activities of the company's regional design centers in Frankfurt, Los Angeles and Tokyo as well as the Namyang Design Center in Korea. While Schreyer's move to Kia comes across as a big surprise for many within automotive design circles, his departure from Volkswagen doesn't.

Acura RLX Concept

Acura held the world debut of the Acura RLX Concept at the New York auto show, which indicates the design and engineering direction for Acura's flagship sedan, set to launch at the beginning of 2013. The RLX Concept's design continues the brand's ‘Keen Edge' design philosophy, with bodyside surfacing clearly related to the ILX we first saw in Detroit. The RLX maintaining approximately the same length as the current RL but with a wheelbase increased by 50mm while the front overhang has been reduced by the same amount.

Dassault Systèmes and Riversimple partner for eCar Design Contest

Dassault Systèmes, in collaboration with Riversimple and the 40 Fires foundation, launched their eCar Design Contest recently, designed to encourage cooperation and the development of ideas on an open source platform. The companies had been in talks for some time regarding a joint project and this competition – a completely holistic, closed-loop approach to the building, sale and use of a car – is the result of their successful collaboration. Christopher Reitz, head designer at Riversimple, says, "The open source platform is a fantastic tool.
