This is absolutely one of the rarest items you will ever find, anywhere.

IMPORTANT

While the material on this CD seems complete, you may have to employ some 'best guess technology' to complete these projects. This is not for the neophyte, however it does not appear to be of prohibitive difficulty.

RECOMMENDED FILE UTILITIES NEEDED FOR THIS CD

You will need a ZIP-file handler to un-pack the ZIP files in the KR-1 Section of the CD. There are TIF files along with GIF/JPG and possibly a few PDFs in the KR-1 area. GIF/JPG and TIF files can be handled by IRFAN-VIEW, which is highly recommended (free to download, free to use).

The best file reader/printing utility for PDF files is the Adobe Acrobat Reader that you can download from the Adobe web site. It is free to download and free to use. If you already have this installed on your computer you are "good to go" !!

The CD is not "auto-run" so you will have to "open" it and "explore" its contents using the method appropriate to your computer and its operating system. The best thing to do is to create a new (empty) folder on your hard-drive, then copy the six PDF files to that folder. Then use the files on your hard-drive instead of actually using the CD. It is a lot faster that way!

IMPORTANT - MAKE SURE YOU READ WHAT FOLLOWS

This is a Data CD and must be used on a computer.
This CD will not work on a stand-alone CD/DVD/BluRay Player.
This CD will not work on your home entertainment system or gaming console.

Build Authorization requires paper plans which will also include a serial number. We do not sell paper plans. This item is for education/evaluation purposes only.

BMW 1-Series gets 4WD xDrive

Mon, 17 Sep 2012

BMW has announced that the 1-Series will be offered with xDrive 4WD on the 120d and M135i. But the UK won’t get the M135i xDrive. The last few winters in the UK, with heavy snow falls and lots of slip-sliding, has focused drivers’ minds on the benefits of 4WD, so the announcement by BMW that they’re going to offer xDrive on the 1-Series will be welcome news.
