Subaru BRZ tease & new Subaru Hybrid concept at Tokyo
Mon, 07 Nov 2011Subaru BRZ teased ahead of Tokyo We’ve seen speculation on the Subaru BRZ – Subaru’s version of the Toyota FT-86 – increase hugely as the arrival of the production version of the BRZ approaches at the Tokyo Motor Show in just a few weeks. The general consensus is that the BRZ will get something around 295bhp – after a Subaru spokesman said the BRZ will have ‘less than 300bhp’ – but we really have no idea how much more powerful the BRZ will be than the FT-86. So when we got an email in this morning with a teaser image for the production-ready BRZ, we thought maybe Subaru has decided to put us out of our misery.
2012 Mercedes SL Spied

But eight years is a long time in the life of a car – even with a cosmetic facelift in 2008 – and the SL has lost its way as the flagship of the Mercedes range. More powerful cars like the SLS have put the SL in to the shadows, and even its little brother – the Mercedes SLK – is probably more desirable.
Cabbies test new British-built hybrid Black Cab
Wed, 02 Apr 2014LONDON cabbies have seized the chance to test the first in a new wave of low-emissions taxis. At Metrocab's testing facility in Surrey, representatives from the Capital's taxi world met London Mayor Boris Johnson, who after driving the car threatened to turn into Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson. The Mayor joined Licensed Taxi Drivers Association (LTDA) General Secretary Steve McNamara, and London Cab Drivers Club (LCDC) Chairman Grant Davis to put the Metrocab’s zero emissions capability to the test.
