In this new function, he will report directly to Walter de'Silva, Volkswagen Group's Head of Design. Donckerwolke's successor as Director of Design at the Seat brand is Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos.

Honda introduces GEAR concept in Montreal

We already know that Europe often gets better cars than we do in the United States, but now Canada is getting in on the action, too. At the press days of the Montreal International Auto Show, the Japanese company introduced the Honda GEAR Concept. The car is reportedly inspired by fixed-gear bicycles -- gag me with a spoon -- and Honda says it's simple, utilitarian, but also customizable.

ACTRESS Keeley Hawes has told of a "frightening" incident which took place on her way to the Belfast set of BBC drama Line Of Duty. The Ashes To Ashes actress stars as Detective Inspector Lindsay Denton in the police drama. But she said that she had to ask a real, high-ranking officer to look into what had happened after she flew into Belfast Airport last July.
