Straps with buckles have a fixed leather loop end keeper at buckle.

EACH COMPLETE strap, when buckled and looped in LONGEST working holes, measures 77 inches
OVERALL with 40 inches of belt holes to allow flexibility with luggage sizes.

The loop and buckle configuration used for this (2) strap set allows each end of
the strap to stay securely fastened to the carrier/rack even while loading
or unloading luggage---see photos.

Buckles are attached with rivets for extra strength and durability.

Company drivers fail to have correct licence

FIVE IN EVERY 1000 company car, van and truck drivers in the UK does not have the correct licence to be at the wheel. With more than 5 million vehicles on the UK’s roads owned by companies, this means 5000 drivers either have the wrong licence or simply don’t have any licence at all. Research by the Licence Bureau has revealed the top five reasons for drivers failing to have the right licence for the vehicle they are driving.

Starting June 1, 2007 Lorenzo Ramaciotti will become the new Group Chief of Design at Fiat Group Automobiles. Ramaciotti was snatched up by Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne and convinced to head the company's design direction, filling a newly created position that hasn't previously existed at Fiat. Lorenzo Ramaciotti, who retired from Pininfarina in June 2005 after working for the famed coachbuilder for 32 years, will be responsible for all the Fiat Group brands, including Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati.
