This flank protection overlaps with the front and back plates creating an integrating, multilayer protection area over some of your most vulnerable parts. Three dimensional design with eight, multi layer, articulating plates, for a great fit. It has also been designed to integrate perfectly with all Leatt neck braces although it works equally well without a neck brace. Exclusive FlipFit front and rear, movable, plates allow your neck brace to fit under the protector, for outside the jersey use, or wear the protector under your jersey and your brace can still fit over the top. BraceOn™ strap system attaches the protector to the neck brace yet provides independent movement of body, brace and chest protector. Audi Urban Concept preview

Following this past weekend's spy shots of the new urban concept caught on a film set in Berlin, Audi has released a set of sketches of the all-new 1+1-seat vehicle set for its global unveiling in Frankfurt. Claimed to combine the ‘elements of a racing car, a fun car and an urban car' the concept exploits new lightweight manufacturing processes. Its cockpit is made from carbonfiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and it features free-standing, low-rolling resistance 21-inch wheels with protective plates.

Pininfarina family to lose control of company

The Pininfarina family is set to lose its controlling share stake in the company as it takes a step closer to restructuring its €76 million net debt. The Italian design firm, founded in 1930, has been plagued with debt in recent years, shutting its manufacturing branch in 2011 to concentrate purely on design, ending a joint venture with Volvo that saw the company assemble Volvo's C70. The move is seen as a positive one for the company in the long-term, making it more financially secure for future developments, but it also means that the Pininfarina family will lose control of the company by selling its 77 percent share.

LA Auto Show Design Challenge theme: 'Sensing the Future: How Will Cars Interact with Us In 2029?'

The Los Angeles Auto Show has confirmed the theme for its annual Design Challenge. This year marks the eleventh time the contest has been held, and eight global design studios will each produce a concept to showcase a connected vehicle or interface system in response to the theme: 'Sensing the Future: How Will Cars Interact with Us In 2029?' The show's organizers have confirmed that BMW Group DesignworksUSA, Honda USA, Honda Japan, McLaren Automotive, Nissan, Peterbilt Motors, Qoros Auto, and SAIC Motor MG will all take part. "Los Angeles is one of the world's most dynamic cities constantly keeping its eye on the future of technological advancements that largely affect our daily lives," said Lisa Kaz, President of the LA Auto Show.
