BMW i8 Spied

Thu, 10 Mar 2011

The BMW i8 being filmed for BMW TV Just the other day we brought you the BMW i3 out playing in Scandinavia so, to complete the set, we thought we’d add to that with the BMW i8 doing exactly the same. Call for Entries: Nissan Design Europe 'East meets West' exhibition

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

Nissan Design Europe has announced that it will be participating to the 2009 London Design Festival, but the Japanese automaker will not be showing a new vehicle. From September 23rd to the 25th, Nissan Design Europe will open its doors and become a creative hub hosting arts and design displays and seminars as well as leading a series of tours of the facility. Under the theme of 'East meets West: the cultural crossroads of creativity', the exhibition aims to celebrate the cross-pollination of creative industries in London, and the Japanese automaker will open some areas of its Paddington-based design studio for installations from other artists and designers.

Guggenheim to auction BMW M1 art car

Fri, 13 May 2011

The Guggenheim Museum in New York is selling an original BMW M1 art car to raise funds and to make way for other exhibits. BMW has commissioned many art cars since the program launched in 1975, including another M1 by Andy Warhol and a 3.0 CSL also by Stella.
