Volkswagen launches 'Future of the Car'

Volkswagen has launched a new micro-site which looks at what people may be driving in the future - or whether they will be driving at all. Revolving around a short film set in the year 2028, in which a father tells his son about the automobile world of 20 years ago, the website showcases the Wolfsburg-based automaker's vision of the automotive world 20 years from now. These 'visions of the future', which take shape in the form of three autonomous concept cars called the 'One', 'Ego' and 'Room', offer an insight into the automotive world of tomorrow as seen through the tinted spectacles of Volkswagen developers and designers.

Jaguar F-type Project 7 concept (2013) first pictures of Goodwood one-off

The Jaguar Project 7 will make its debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Based on the F-Type convertible, the single-seat P7, named as a tribute to Jaguar’s seven Le Mans victories, has retro tweaks from the legendary Jaguar D-Type that won the 24-hour in 1955 and ’56. Nissan Ellure concept

The Ellure is one of the most significant new car concepts to be unveiled at this year's LA auto show. A D-segment-sized sedan, the project has seen input from both Nissan's studios in Japan and NDA, where the concept was completed. According to NDA design chief Alfonso Albaisa, the concept explores a new global design language Nissan is working towards for its range of sedans.
