If you haven't yet seen an episode of Classic Car TV, this new production from the car nuts at Hagerty Insurance provides a weekly rundown of news, events and fun stuff in the world of old rides. The show is still in its infancy, but as this second episode proves, it's starting to find a rhythm. Goodwood Festival of Speed will see the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special, together with the Bonneville XFR and a trio of Classic Jaguars But ‘OTT’ Jaguars have not been much in evidence for a long time. Nothing loud and wild has come out of Jaguar for as long as we can remember, probably in deference to their customer base, which has always been on the ‘Traditional’ side. But Jaguars lend themselves to some ‘pimping’ and pushing of the boundaries, and Jaguar have decided to do just that with a one-off Jaguar XKR – the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special.

Pagani releases Huayra documentary [w/video]

Italian manufacturer Pagani has put together a 14-minute documentary tracking the development of its new Huayra supercar. The short film heads to the companies that help to make the carbon and titanium-bodied Huayra, such as Italian company ASPA that creates the car's logo for an entire day out of a solid block of aluminum. The finer points of the design and development of the 230 mph car are also explored, as well as detailing how Leonardo Da Vinci inspired Horacio Pagani's original design.
