Thu, 26 Jul 2012Volkswagen has finally made the new VW Beetle available with the 2.0 litre TSI petrol and 2.0 litre turbodiesel engines. It seems VW must have been listening as they’ve now announced that you can grab a new Beetle with either the more powerful petrol or the diesel engine, which should help sales of the new Beetle.

It made no sense because we couldn’t see how it would fit in the McLaren model range, so close was it in power and specification to the 12C’s replacement – the McLaren 650S – to maker commercial sense. But all has been revealed.
