Releases tension on both large and small GM single spring brakes during servicing. Many GM brakes use a heavy single spring. This engages the spring and quickly releases the spring tension. The brake can then be disassembled to replace brake shoes, emergency brake cable or service the brake cylinder. Also works on older C and H body vehicles with single brake spring. Smaller spring fits 1991 to current GM H body, 1992 to current GM C and H body, Bonneville, LaSabre, Buick Electra, Delta 88, Olds 88, 1995 to current Chevrolet Lumina and Monte Carlo, Cadillac Fleetwood, Cadillac DeVille, Chevrolet Lumina APV, Pontiac Trans Sports and Olds Silhouette. Larger spring fits 2005 to current Chevrolet Silverado and 2004 to current Chevrolet Colorado including 2007 models.

Fashion designer John Varvatos continues Detroit theme in new Chrysler 300 ad

Thu, 12 May 2011

Continuing the "Imported from Detroit" campaign that launched with Eminem's epic Super Bowl ad, Chrysler has partnered with fashion designer and native Detroiter John Varvatos for the next installment in the star-studded series of commercials. With Iggy Pop playing in the background, the spot shows Varvatos driving a Chrysler 300 as the voiceover says that the Motor City's "perfect combination of rock and roll and heavy industry" made it the designer's muse. Chrysler also is running an ad with Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

Official: New Alfa Romeo Spider based on new Mazda MX-5

Sun, 20 Jan 2013

Following a MOU in May 2012, Alfa Romeo has confirmed they will be launching a new Alfa Spider in 2015 based on the next Mazda MX-5 Back in May 2012, Fiat and Mazda signed a memorandum of understanding to produce a new Alfa Romeo Spider built on the same platform as the next generation Mazda MX-5, and that has now turned in to a solid agreement with the new Alfa Spider arriving in 2015. But this won’t be a simple badge-engineering by Fiat to roll out a new Alfa Spider that’s just the same as the next MX-5 but with a different badge and grill, but will feature different styling and engines to make sure there is real differentiation between the roadsters. That means the new Alfa Spider getting Italian styling (which we hope has more than a passing nod to theĀ originalĀ Alfa Spider) an, it’s expected, Alfa’s 1750cc engine we’ll see in the new Alfa 4C when that arrives.
