Sun, 18 Mar 2012Hyundai use hypnosis to sell the new i30 Hyundai in the Netherlands are using hypnotist Peter Powers to experiment with hypnosis to raise awareness for the new Hyundai i30. We’ve been big fans of the way Hyundai has marketed their products in the last few years, managing to change perceptions of the brand in a fraction of the time mighty VW took with Skoda. What we’re not too sure of is the latest marketing tactic being tried out by Hyundai in the Netherlands, who have enlisted the skills of hypnotist Peter Powers to create a 15 minute immersive video designed to be watched full screen on your computer – with headphones on – as Powers lets you experience the new Hyundai i30 in a whole new way.

Wed, 13 Feb 2013The Mercedes A45 AMG – Mercedes’ first ’Hot Hatch’ – has been revealed ahead of a debut at Geneva 2013. It gets 355bhp and does 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds. The 2.0 litre turbo 4-cylinder engine under the bonnet of the A45 produces a very healthy 355bhp and 332lb/ft of torque, enough to scoot the A45 AMG to 62mph in 4.6 seconds yet still returns official economy of 34mpg.
Cars, Harleys among items to be sold in dealer bankruptcy auction
Wed, 12 May 2010Three cars, five Harley-Davidson motorcycles and five boats are among the items from bankrupt Minnesota car dealer Denny Hecker being auctioned off to raise money for creditors. The item list for the May 25 auction in New Germany, Minn., includes a 2004 Cadillac Escalade, a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible and a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero SUV. This is the third sale of Hecker's possessions since last August to raise money for creditors.
