BMW X4 confirmed for production in 2014

More details have emerged about BMW's forthcoming X4. As previously reported by CAR, the new 2014 X4 is in essence a baby X6 - a sort of squashed coupe-cum-4x4 to appeal to outward-going types. Now Frank-Peter Arndt, BMW's board member in charge of production, has confirmed the new BMW X4 will be built at Plant Spartanburg in South Carolina, USA.

It seems the battle to take a stake in Aston Martin has come down to a battle between Mahindra & Mahindra and Investindustrial. After reporting more than a year ago that Aston Martin urgently needed a new owner, or major investor, if it is to survive, it became clear earlier this month that Aston Martin was ready to acknowledge that need as the Kuwait Investment Dar starting seeking a buyer for the majority of its majority stake in AML. Toll road plans 'to be scrapped'

CONTROVERSIAL plans to create the UK's first toll road for a decade are to be dropped, it was reported. Improvements to the A14 will instead be paid for by the Government, the Financial Times said. The proposed toll is part of a scheme to widen and improve a heavily congested 25-mile stretch in East Anglia which carries traffic from the port of Felixstowe to the Midlands.
