Since 11/07, I have yet to miss sending an item the next business day or even the same day if paid for by 8 or 9 AM central time (except for that gully washer / hailstorm of April 08). Derryl, my mailman, picks up around noon CT. If it's an unusually large or heavy item I'll have it packaged and ready to go before listing.
PS - I go to auction about twice a month, dealing almost exclusively in quality tools, light equipment, and industrial consumables. Those days in between I'm loading stuff on eBay. No telling what I'll come across next.

One hundred years ago today, Aston Martin arrived as Bamford & Martin as Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford formed the company which would, just a year later, become Aston Martin, and to celebrate the centenary Aston Martin is creating 100 Centenary Editions of each of its model range (although not, it seems, the Cygnet). Jann Mardenborough won Nissan’s competition to find a new racing driver by beating his rivals on a racing simulator game. His prize was a seat in a variety of racing cars since his victory in 2011 and now he will race in the GP3 series, which is the recognised route to Formula One.
700 medics call for car smoking ban
Fri, 07 Feb 2014AROUND 700 medics and health experts are calling on the Government to ban smoking in cars carrying children ahead of a Commons vote on Monday. In a letter to the British Medical Journal (BMJ), respiratory experts said secondhand smoke was a "major cause of ill health in children", damaging the developing lungs, causing sudden infant death and leading to thousands of hospital trips every year. Signatories to the letter are being co-ordinated by Dr Nicholas Hopkinson from Imperial College London and chairman of the British Thoracic Society's chronic obstructive pulmonary disease specialist advisory group.
