Although the feedback page clearly states that 4 stars is for good service, you just have to do the math and find out it is NOT good for your favorite (hard working) sellers! Sellers are required to have a 4.8 DSR in every category. Therefore if you leave a seller a 4, you are going to lower that 4.8 score and it's considered a failure...Even though they might have 100% feedback. Ebay can start taking the money that our buyers pay us and holding it for weeks or worse tell us we can't sell anymore because of low feedback scores OR for people filing cases against us. People who have a problem with an item need to know that it's always best to contact the seller. If your issue still goes unresolved then file a complaint with Ebay. Design Contest: AutoStyle 2011
Tue, 04 Oct 2011The newly renovated Polirone Abbey in San Benedetto Po, Italy, will again play host to the Autostyle design competition on October 6th and 7th. Now in its eighth edition, the event is more than just a design contest; it is also a workshop on the state of the auto industry. Devised by Roberto Artioli, managing director of Berman SpA, an OEM parts and genuine accessories designer and supplier, and Fulvio Cinti, Director of Auto & Design magazine, the event will honor the winners of this year's competition and present a total of five awards to 12 finalists, which have been selected out of 80 applicants from different design schools.
Road drainage problems increasing
Thu, 14 Aug 2014ROAD DRAINAGE during the mid-summer heatwave was no better than in the early-year floods, according to 40% of drivers. A further 9% said drainage in June was even worse than during the winter downpours, the AA/Populus survey of more than 18,000 AA members showed. Most dissatisfaction with the state of the roads in mid-summer was shown by drivers in Yorkshire and Humberside, with 46% of them reckoning drainage was no better than during the winter.
Race2Recovery starts new Dakar challenge
Mon, 06 Jan 2014A TEAM of disabled ex-soldiers has arrived in South America to take on this year’s Dakar rally, known as the toughest motoring challenge on the planet. Race2Recovery, the team of severely injured servicemen and civilian volunteers, is taking a second shot at the Dakar after last year becoming the first all-disabled team in history to complete it. This year the 5,600-mile course travels through Argentina and Chile, crossing the Andes mountain range and the Atacama Desert, where temperatures are expected to top 40 degrees Celsius.
