We have the first photos of the next Variant in the Golf Mk 7 line – the VW Golf Estate – ahead of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week. More in the ‘They didn’t want it to arrive yet‘ saga in the run-up to the start of the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, with this offering being the firts pictures of the new VW Golf Estate. There really isn’t a huge amount to say about the new Golf Estate except it’s a Mk 7 Golf with a small shed on the back and looks likely to be a favourite family buy.

Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo launched with more power and lower running costs Vauxhall has added an extra turbo to the Insignia 2.0 litre diesel to create the Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo with 192bhp and 57.6mpg. The Vauxhall Insignia is a more than half decent car, and capable of handling quite a chunk of power too. So it will have no trouble handling the extra diesel power arriving in the guise of the Vauxhall Insignia BiTurbo.

BMW launches new 5-series (2009 teaser

It's begun - BMW has started the PR roll-out for the new 5-series. First up there's both a teaser video and a single image of the Five, before the new car is unveiled on 23 November 2009. There's one solitary image, and the video is typically brief, but BMW claims it's enough to give us a glimpse of 'the sporting and elegant design of the new BMW 5-series, using the kinetic sculpture from the BMW Museum to create the silhouette'.
