Nissan upgrades the Versa engine to add mpg

The redesigned Versa sedan that reaches Nissan showrooms later this summer will post a 30 city/38 highway mpg rating, up from the current model's 28/34 rating. The Versa still has a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, but the 2012 model gets a dual-fuel injector system, the first U.S. application of the Nissan technology.

And we ran the story, even though there was precious little to say beyond they’d turned the ‘blades’ round on the doors to make it look more butch and that it’d turn up when the 3 door Astra does in a years time. Everyone’s favorite Mitsubishi is back for the 2014 model year. The Lancer Evolution GSR will cost $34,995 when it hits dealerships while the twin-clutch-equipped Evolution MR comes in at $38,195, not including destination. Both of those prices are $300 more than last year.
