Caterham in surprise motorbike racing move
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Caterham has today revealed it is moving into motorbike racing, with the launch of a Moto2 World Championship team that will debut in 2014. The two-bike team will compete in the feeder series to the ultra-popular MotoGP championship, with one rider – American Josh Herrin – already being confirmed for one of the race seats. Caterham AeroSeven unveiled in Singapore Caterham Seven 165 prototype stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show Caterham will team up with Swiss motorcycle racing experts Suter Racing Technology to design the new bike.

Wed, 04 Apr 2012The Jaguar C-X16 gets a production name today Jaguar will reveal the name for the C-X16 to day at the New York Auto Show - and it won’t be XE - signalling the way forward for Jaguar nomenclature. Update: It’s the Jaguar F-Type! Last week Jaguar told us they had some exciting news to reveal at the New York Motor Show and, although we’d hope for a nice new Jaguar reveal, it looks like the news will be the production name for the Jaguar C-X16 and the news it will arrive in showrooms in 2013 first of all as a roadster.

Sat, 18 Jun 2011The 2012 Audi S8 will get power from a Bentley V8 We reported back in October that Bentley and Audi were working on a new V8 that would power future models from both marques, and we asked if that would mean the end of the W12 in the Bentley. Because although it was claimed that the V8 being developed would be used as an entry-level lump for the Continental GT – a nod to more frugal times – we did think it likely it would be more than that. And now we’re convinced.
