Cut and shut: Ford builds Mustang on Empire State Building

The iconic Ford Mustang is 50 years old in 2014, and to celebrate Ford will be officially selling it in Europe for the first time ever. But in logistics terms, that’s nothing compared to this stunt: timed to coincide with the 2014 New York Motor Show, Ford has parked a new Mustang convertible on the observation deck of the Empire State Building. As we’ve already reported today that the McLaren P1′s design is almost the same as the concept P1, we thought we should also report on the latest news on the McLaren’s biggest rival – the Ferrari F70 / F150 – now Ferrari has confirmed more detail. Most of what Ferrari has revealed on their web site (and in the latest edition of the Ferrari Magazine) has already been speculated upon, but now we know from the (prancing) horse’s mouth some of the technical details, as well as the look of the new Ferrari from the recent tease of the F70/F150.

Racing legend Stirling Moss is recovering after falling three floors down an elevator shaft in his Mayfair, England, home. The 80-year-old broke both ankles in the fall, as well as four bones in his feet. He also suffered injuries to his vertebrae.
