Saab 9-X Air concept
Fri, 19 Sep 2008We saw the 9-X BioHybrid concept at Geneva, and at Paris we can expect to see this car as a cabriolet version called the Saab 9-X Air Concept. The core innovation in this design is the roof which in Saab's words is: "a powered, flat-folding roof developed from a Targa top principle". Relating to this, the rear C-pillar buttresses are also unique.
Three Lexus special editions arriving before the new year
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Lexus has rolled out three special-edition models. They aren't F-branded as we hoped, but they do come with some sporty touches. The Lexus LS 460 Sport Special Edition gets upgrades from the wheels to the sunroof and a unique obsidian paint job.
Hyundai Elantra
Mon, 22 Nov 2010Hyundai is set to add another vehicle to its list of successes: the new Elantra, which was revealed at the LA auto show this year. Created by principal designer Cedric d'Andre, the Elantra was the last car conceived under the direction of Hyundai's former design boss, Joel Piaskowski. The new car shares the 'fluidic sculpture' design theme of its larger sibling, the Sonata and has an impressively low 0.28Cd.
