Alfa Romeo has launched a limited edition MiTo – the MiTo Live – with a Pioneer App radio and Marmalade ‘Black Box’ Insurance aimed at new drivers. So on the engine front the MiTo Live gets Alfa’s 875cc two-cylinder turbo – a crackingly good little engine – which delivers up a modest, but fun, 85bhp with emissions of 98g/km and the promise of 67.3mpg if you drive like a saint. Nissan sets prices for the 2012 Armada and Titan

Nissan is keeping prices essentially the same for the 2012 Armada and Titan lineups, the former with slightly higher stickers for the SL and Platinum models. The Nissan Armada SUV still comes in three trims for 2012. The rear-wheel-drive SV starts at $39,465 with shipping and at $45,065 for the all-wheel-drive version.

In what is probably the least surpring move by Ford the Mercury moniker has been consigned to the history books as Ford continues to rebuild not just its balance book but its brand. Having finally divested itself of its troublesome posh-badge crew of Jaguar, Land Rover, Aston Martin and Volvo, the only surprise is that the Mecury brand lasted this long.
