Tue, 11 Feb 2014Audi has turned its limited-production Audi A1 Quattro into a full series-production model with the three-door S1 and five-door S1 Sportback. Designed to take on the likes of the new Mini Cooper S, the new entry-level Audi S models make their world debut at the Geneva show early next month. Audi says the S1 and S1 Sportback won't be sold in the U.S.

Proper car anoraks may also remember the ‘Chinese Rolls Royce‘, a Phantom ‘Homage’ from Geely that came equipped with a ‘Throne’ in the back to transport a lone plutocrat. It looked a lot like a Russian cold war ZIL meets cartoon Phantom and there was no mistaking it was a Chinese car for a Chinese market.
Nissan developing supercharged hybrid for Infiniti
Wed, 17 Oct 2012Nissan Motor Co. is developing a supercharged hybrid powertrain likely to arrive in 2014 in the Infiniti JX crossover. This configuration advances the system used in the rear-wheel-drive Infiniti M35h Hybrid but has been revised for use on the front- and all-wheel-drive JX.
