This auction is for qty (1) lightly used MagnaFuel MP-9633 boost reference fuel pressure regulator. This was used for a short period of time on a wet nitrous system that took fuel inlet pressure from a 43psi fuel injection pump. Pressure was reduced to 7 psi, variable with boost reference. The bypass line was routed back to the gas tank. This was done so that regulator pressure was not 'dead-head' against a closed system. A small amount of fuel was always being bypassed back to the gas tank, and fuel pressure was always available and ready with accurate settings. Boost/vacuum pressure is connected to nipple on spring housing. Which does seem a bit of an odd place for a mainstream, high-end car maker to launch its new flagship. Are Audi saying that the new A8 is all about design, rather than performance or luxury or, quite frankly, anything else?
