Here is a complete Flying Miata V-Maxx Tack Pack Suspension package to fit a 89-94 and possibly other MX5. This package was just removed from a track only race car to convert it back to full time use. The package looks good, worked well, shows no leaks or damage and all control valves are free and usable. I have also unwound one front and one rear to show that the coil adjusters are not frozen. Spring numbers are as follows; Upper spring fr&rr is 100-20 1207, lower front spring is 140-90 1307 and rear lower is 170-60 1011. The shock itself number is 1209. According to the Flyin Miata website this package retails for $915 plus shipping. I will ship these anywhere in the continental USA for $30.

Art installation moves 100,000 toy cars an hour

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

IT'S NO PICASSO, but this installation by conceptual artist Chris Burden certainly has the potential to be moving. Called Metropolis II, this amazing construction took Chris and his chief engineer four years to design and create and expands significantly on Metropolis I - the latest version has 18 roadways including one six-lane carriageway. It also has a rail network with HO-scale model trains, and running at capacity it pumps 100,000 cars around its network at a scale speed of 230mph.

Spending $16,000 or more to make a Camaro into a Camaro convertible isn't a rational decision, but we can certainly understand people wanting one. We drove the concept version of this car from Chevrolet two years ago ("Top This!" AW, July 2, 2007) and loved it. Back then, Chevrolet planned to release a convertible version of the new Camaro in November 2009, but an economic cliff intervened, pushing production to the second quarter of 2011.

Will the California damage Ferrari?

[ad#ad-1] Ferrari has had a wonderful 10 years. Riding the back of a benign world economy, it has doubled the number of cars it sells to over 6,000 a year, and sales have risen to over €1.6 billion. The biggest success by far has been the 360/430, which easily accounts for the lion’s share of the sales.
