It may look much like you’d expect it to, but in a radical move, Audi is turning its back on turbocharging – the S4 is powered by a new supercharged 3.0-litre V6 that pumps out 329bhp and a hefty 325lb ft of torque for a 5.1 second sprint to 60mph and a 155mph top speed. We’re a little perplexed ourselves, to be honest.

Mini celebrates 50 years since Monte win

IT'S 50 years since the iconic Mini Cooper S won the Monte Carlo Rally and to mark the occasion the famous car and its driver have been brought back together. Paddy Hopkirk took the Mini to its maiden win on the Monte Carlo Rally, and the car went on to win again in 1965 and 1967. It should also have won in 1966, but it was denied due to a technical infringement with its lights.

Mercedes calls it the grand finale, saying the SLS AMG GT Final Edition brings the SLS AMG GT lineup to an end. The car is being shown simultaneously at the LA and Tokyo motor shows. Just 350 will be built, each numbered on the center console.
