You are bidding on a Brand New MCP Brake Systems Black Special Edition Brake Caliper (Part #MCP 1375SE-B & #MCP 1384SE-B).

These calipers are commonly used on Micro Sprints, Mini-Sprints, Racing Go Karts, Recreational Go Karts, Quarter Midgets, Mini-Cup cars, Jr. Dragsters, Racing Lawn Mowers, Racing Barstools, and hundreds of motorsports applications.

  • This Special Edition caliper comes bolted together and features Internal Fluid Crossflow that enables it to be plumbed with only one brake fluid line
  • This high performance Billet aluminum brake caliper features two 1 3/8" Bore Pistons
  • This particular listing also includes a .300" thick spacer that allows this caliper to be used with up to a .55" thick rotor
  • With the adjustable design of the caliper, it can be used with a rotor as narrow as .15"
  • So with the included spacer, this can used with .15" to .55" thick rotors
  • The spacer (with bolts) comes separate from the caliper.  It will have to be installed to use a rotor that is over .25" thick.  The installation process is fairly simple.
  • With the spacer installed, the Internal Fluid Crossflow still works great
  • Mounts to a caliper bracket or brackets through the 2 bolt holes.  The bolt hole spacing is 2.25" center-to-center and they fit 3/8" bolts.
  • Features Ethyl Propylene (EP) seals, which allows it to be used with Dot 3, Dot 4, or Dot 5 brake fluid

Ford recalling Explorer and E-series vans

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Ford is recalling its E-series van and Explorer SUV for two different reasons. The vans could develop bubbles in the windshield, decreasing visibility, while the Explorers need to have their steering gears checked. The van’s windshields were improperly manufactured, according to the NHTSA, some forming bubbles after an extended time in hot temperatures.

Russian Grand Prix: Hamilton on pole for Mercedes

Sat, 11 Oct 2014

Hamilton (r) has pole in Russia followed by Rosberg (l) and Bottas (c) Amid tight security thanks to Russia’s ongoing spat in Ukraine, and a muted appetite for exuberance after Jules Bianchi’s dreadful crash with a JCB on track last weekend, the rest of the F1 circus seems to be on normal duty, with Hamilton’s Mercedes taking the front row and Hamilton dominating proceedings in qualifying to secure another pole position. But it wasn’t necessarily going all Mercedes’ way, with Bottas stringing together a very quick lap in the dying moments of final qualifying that looked like it could propel him in front of the Mercedes duo, until he lost traction at the end of his flying lap and had to settle for third spot in tomorrow’s race. Joining Bottas on row two is Jenson Button and his McLaren after a strong qualifying, and Daniil Kvyat – at his first home Grand Prix – managed to secure a very impressive fifth spot for Toro Rosso. Kevin Magnussen in the second McLaren would have been on row three in sixth spot but gets a five place penalty for a gearbox change.
