VW Up! to launch at Frankfurt 2011

The VW Up to Launch Frankfurt 2011 It seems like an awfully long time since Volkswagen announced to the world that it was going to make a small range of city cars to cope with modern eco-sensibilities and recession-motivated downsizing. In fact as long ago as April 2009 we reported that VW were to make the Up! in Bratislava with a range of super-eco three-pot engines.

Bentley was an integral part of the 2012 Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle and have chronicled the event in pictures. Last weekend saw the Windsor Castle Concours of Elegance event in the Queen’s weekend back garden with cars from every year of Her Majesty’s reign gathered to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Not surprisingly, a historic brand like Bentley was well represented, and Bentley made the effort to chronicle the event in pictures and have been kind enough to share them.

Mobility Ventures builds dealer network for its wheelchair-accessible vehicles

Mobility Ventures LLC, the current builder of the MV-1, says it has now signed more than 50 dealers. The MV-1 is the only American-built vehicle designed from the ground up for people with mobility challenges; it meets or exceeds the Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines as well as all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Last year, the original designer and builder of the MV-1 -- the Vehicle Production Group LLC -- was acquired by South Bend, Ind.-based AM General.
